God help me. Paige and I bought Evy ( my daughter ) a censored Now thats what I call music CD. The only songs she likes are rap, hip hop, pop, and r&b. Aka the whole CD. ....god help me. I always wondered if music would outdate me like music does for everyone. All older generations love the music from their generation mainly and usually hate the music their children listen to. I know my parents always hated me listening to metal when I was a child. I never thought I would ever outgrow punk, metal, rock or alternative music,and I always thought I would enjoy listening to it with my kids despite generational changes in style; however, I have been thrown a loop. Now I can tolerate and listen to most styles of music ( except for god awful modern pop country music ). I also understand children usually come out wanting to hear monotonous pleasant sounding music, instead of awesome god riffs. But come on Evy! I guess thats what I get for being an enabler and buying a NOW CD. But really, I just love my kid.
