God is a loving God, and when religions teach that we are sinners, - TopicsExpress

God is a loving God, and when religions teach that we are sinners, that there is something inherently wrong with us, that is not the truth. It causes so much unecessary fear and restriction to believe that if you dont follow certain rules, or believe certain things, that god will stop loving you, and punish you. But dont take my word for it, or the bible, or any other outside teaching. Contact God directly in your heart, and you will feel and know his unconditional love, kindness and forgiveness. God does not want to judge, control or punish us. And satan is not the cause of all suffering. We make our own choices, and the horrible things people do, they do because they are cut off from Gods love in their heart, cut off from their own heart and soul. People have erroneously projected human attributes onto God, such as anger and vengeance. And God gave us all our senses and all the wonderful things of the world to be enjoyed, not denied. Now im not saying you should indulge and go overboard, and be gluttonous 24/7, but there is nothing wrong with feeling pleasure, as long as it doesnt hurt anyone. Another concept that is troubling is that you should only care about the afterlife, that this life is just an endless test of temptations. No disrespect, but when i look at all these misconceptions about God, the picture it paints is that life is just a booby trapped maze, meant to trick us, and we are supposed to restrict and control ourselves in a unrealistic way, and it is all set up like a mine field, waiting to get us in trouble. The true teachings of Jesus, and of all higher beings, is about love, truth, forgiveness, unity, humbleness, serving our brothers and sisters. All the stuff about sin, hell, control and fear are manmade lies cloaked as the word of God. It doesnt make sense to have an all loving God who would judge you, want to control you, cut off his love if you misbehave or disobey, and send you to an eternal damnation. What a frightening and inaccurate view to have of God. I know sometimes people are really rigid in their beliefs and take great offense when anyone says anything contrary to what they believe. My intention is only to wake people up to the truth, and show them there is nothing to fear, and God loves them as they are. We are not perfect, we are all learning and evolving, and make many mistakes along the way. But there is no need to harshly judge yourself or fear judgement from God. We are all beautiful children of God, and deserve to know His infinite love and mercy
