God is an idea and that idea is peace and love together, Shalom! Jesus is an ideal, the personification of the idea of god. God is love therefore, love is god! There is no god being, no thing such as god. Theres a greater mathematical chance of the sun not coming up tomorrow than that a god exists, any god of any description. So theres no point in even being agnostic, doubtful that is, about this. Everyone seeks god all their lives, to be held in eternal arms, in the hollow of enormous hands like a small bird or kitten and unconditionally loved, comforted and maintained in a state of complete safety, peace and tranquility, a state of perfect love. And though I am an atheist, I can say without compunction, that if everyone were to love peace with their whole heart, body and spirit and to love others as themselves and to be willing to die for this ideal as Jesus said and did, then we would truly be living in the land of milk and honey! The messiah is us! God is us! And anytime we reach out in empathy and in sympathy, in unconditional love and acceptance to others, they see god, we, our egos, disappear in the transaction and god, as perfect love, is created, appears in our place. If everyone lit just one little candle, what a bright world we would live in.
