God is coming to the Gate to meet man. From the sinners’ point of view, his search for God starts here. As there is only one Gate, Jesus is inviting all to come to God the Father by saying John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. There is no alternative choices or many religions to enter - Jesus said He is THE way. The Gate is the way – Jesus is the gateway. Isaiah 62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people. There is no alternative way but through Jesus Christ, the SON of GOD. The Gate of the outer court is seen as the way of approach and there is no other. It was open to all Israelites and is open for all who choose to enter. Acts 4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
