God is eternal. In God is the start of it all: the Alpha, which is the first letter in the Greek alphabet. And in God is the end of it all: the Omega, the last letter. Since we know that we’re far past the beginning, and because we see that the end has not yet come, then we must live in the meantime. This means that you and I get to play our parts in God’s great mystery called life—and that’s powerful stuff! Knowing this, the question is, “How ya gonna act?” How are you going to be at school, with family, with yourself, with friends—with all of your communities? Let’s look first to love, forgiveness, and peace. Let’s work to respect the dignity in every person, no matter how different. Let’s reflect God’s love as we seek and serve Christ in others.
