God is in control and He is on the throne!!! Karissas surgery looked beautiful, textbook at the beginning. But, she began to cough as they were taking her breathing tube out... She dislodged her device. They went straight back in to retrieve the device.... 2 plus hours of more surgery.. She will be going to Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit to be observed and recover overnight. We are unsure at this time how long we will be here. She will be scheduled for open heart surgery. Thank you for your continued prayers!! We hope to get to see her within the hour. I will update more as we learn more. God is good!! Karissa is a fighter!! The doctor apologized for the procedure not working... I said it is a good day... My daughter is still here with us... God is not finished with her yet...
