God is not too concern about your past and where youve been, He already knows youve been there. The scriptures refers to God putting our sins in the sea of forgetfulness it can be found in Micah 7:18-19. It doesnt specifically say sea of forgetfulness but it does say cast all our sins into the depths of the sea. Before this it says he does not retain his anger forever, which would mean he forgives. If God can do this why do you live in the past? God is concern about blessing you today and in the future, Jesus said in John 10:10, i am come that they might have life,and that they might have it more abundantly. All He requires of us is that we will repent, turn away from sin and turn to Him. He wants us to ...confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you shall be saved. Romans 10:9. He will give you the true evidence that you have been saved and filled with the Holy Spirit. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Galatians 5:22-23. Have a great day!
