God is so good. I am a pressure wash guy (and a licensed insurance agent). I was pressure washing a house fora senior friend. As a courtesy I cleaned out her gutters, as Ive been helping Loraine for some 8 years now. I dont normally get on a ladder as Im deathly afraid of heights. This was a small one story ranch, so no big deal. Next thing you know another senior friend drove by and Ardy asked if I could clean his gutters also. I agreed as it was also a one story ranch and I have a hard time saying no when someone needs help. Especially seniors. While up on the ladder at Ardys house the ladder began to slide and I was going down. As I got ready to fall I shouted for Gods help. All of a sudden the ladder got hung up on a seam in the gutter and prevented a very painful fall. I came out with a scraped elbow and as I got down I lifted my hands to the skies and thanked God for saving my butt. It was only by the grace of my savior that I didnt fall off and break a single bone. Note to self. I DONT CLEAN GUTTERS. No matter how much someone is willing to pay.
