God is so good! This past week Ive felt an overwhelming feeling of being home sick. Getting to be so close to Kentucky while I was in Nashville, and even having two friends come and see me I found myself missing the bluegrass state. This Sunday I went to the altar and prayed that God would bring peace over me, and that Id have faith to know Im where I belong. As always, I took a walk back to the pond located on the Crossroads campus and sat on the bench reflecting on what I had just prayed for. While I was sitting I looked to my side and I saw a cardinal, the Kentucky state bird. In that moment I knew my prayer was answered and that it wasnt just chance that Id look to my left and see such a thing. Home is not just a place of birth or where I stay, but rather it can be where I find God. Hes all around me, Hes always listening, Hes always watching. He deserves all of the glory for even the small occurrences in my life. Im so blessed!
