God is working on Emilys kidneys... everyday things are looking a little better. I know soon all this nausea will disappear soon too. Night time seams to be a little hard when things get quiet and she really wants to go home. Today able young boy was rolling past the door in in his wheelchair today. He had such a positive happy look on his face. I told Emily.... That is George. I know you dont remember him but he was in your room ICU with you when we got here. I saw him racing down the hall yesterday using a walker. He was just like you Emily. He was very sick. And before long you will be able to race down the hallway just like him. Well, an hour or so later Ms Lucy from physical therapy came. She was working so patiently with Emily, not that Emily was showing much enthusiasm, LOL. Then out of the blue Emily says: When can I try to walk? Ms Lucy: you need to strengthen your upper body first and be able to sit up some. ME: explain to MS Lucy about George and his walker. Emily: I dont want a walker, I want to use crutches. Bless her soul. Anyway we laugh and talk things out . MS Lucy brought Emily a walker with wheels and she walked about 5 steps from her bed and back. Almost as exciting as those first few steps as a toddler. My girl took about a 2 hr nap immediately, but let me tell she has more fight than anyone I know.... I love her so very much! God has been so good to her. What an Awesome God we Serve.
