God lends a helping hand again... Yesterday, just as I had said in conversation, teaching our kids how to love is more important than teaching our kids how to make money. Work is inevitable, produced by necessity, where love is a commodity, and only a few understand the exchange. Just then, I was interrupted by a nine year old girl selling chocolate bars. I was interested. Asking her details on flavor and price. The poor girl could only stare at the other children playing across the way. Without a smile she gave me details. I proceeded to ask her name and pulled out all my cash asking her to help me figure out how many I could afford. Still without interest she sold me her candy. I called her by name, looked her in the eye, smiled, and asked her to to do the same. Love would have shown appreciation. Money is cold. Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these. Matthew 19:14 We cannot serve both God and money.
