God loves us and wants us to be prepared for the sudden storms in our lives. We must *store up* His Word and His wisdom, ahead of time, so we can rely on it until the storm passes by. The time to prepare is not in the middle of our crisis. When I was going through chemo, the storm was raging all around me, and I didnt have the strength to study. Thats when the Word of God came Alive in me, and all those precious verses I had studied, kept coming into my *memory* over and over! At 2 in the morning when the devil tells you he is going to take you out, Gods Word would RISE UP to silence him..... by reminding me I will never leave you nor forsake you. { Deuteronomy 31:8 The LORD is the one who goes ahead of you; He will be with you. He will not fail you or forsake you. Do not fear or be dismayed. } .......None of us are exempt from the trials and the storms in life. God says they are coming to ALL of us. The question is ....Will we be prepared when they do? And I can tell you this......when that devil was whispering to me in the middle of the night......I was not regretting a single time that I had taken my children to church and we all *filled up* on the Word of God. I was not regretting a single Ladies Bible Study class that I *chose* to go to, instead of staying home and cleaning and re-cleaning my house. I was not regretting a single time that I had opened my Bible and read what God wanted me to learn. Instead I was Thanking God for coming to my rescue, just as He promised He would do, if I searched for Him with all of my heart. {☼ Jeremiah 29:13You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.} And this is what I have learned about storms. They dont stop. They keep coming......and God keeps showing up to take me through them! So would I dare think of ignoring God now? NEVER!!! He has lavished His love on me when I could never deserve it. God is planning a family reunion.....and He wants to make sure we are ALL there. TRUST HIM.
