God made our children to resemble us in looks and ways to remind us that we were created in His image and likeness. Then God said, Let us make mankind in our image, in our likeness... So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. (Genesis 1:26 &27). But sin tarnished that image and likeness of God in mankind and reduced it to a distorted representation of God, one that is corrupted by sin and the influence of the wicked one Satan the devil. This makes humans do evil or sinful acts when they should do good ones. God is holy and perfect in character, there is not darkness, sin or evil within Him. Man can only get back to being in Gods true image and likeness by receiving Gods free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile (the rest of mankind), for all have sinned (all humans are born sinful) and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Romans 3:22-24). For the wages of sin is death, but the FREE (LOVE) GIFT of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 6:23). If YOU declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him (Jesus Christ) will never be put to shame (or condemned on judgment day before God to eternal Hell fire).” Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17). Jesus Christ was a perfect human without any sin. God needed a perfect, sinless sacrifice to be a ransom for our sins to redeem us from the wages of sin which is death, judgment and condemnation in eternal Hell fire. Who else could be perfect and sinless but God? God had to be the sacrifice for our sins, for only He could do it, only He could be a perfect sinless sacrifice to atone for our many sins. Therefore God came in human form as the man Jesus Christ. NOTE: Jesus is the Son of God, part of the Trinity of God, no not 3 gods but God in three persons (all 3, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit being One God)... I to struggled many years to understand the Trinity concept but the important thing is that we know that Jesus is one with God or God). Jesus Christ was our sin bearer, he stood in our place as a living sacrifice to take our punishment for sin. He was crucified, died and then rose back to life three days after, defeating death, hell, the devil and sin in one blow. Now... When we believe in Gods truth which is Christ Jesus and receive Gods free gift of salvation through faith in Jesus (and repent, asking God for forgiveness for our past sins), we will be born again in our spirit and God will forgive all our past sins and wipe them away from us, making us a new creation in Jesus Christ. Come just as you are to Christ today, lay all your past sins at His feet and ask for forgiveness, He will not turn you away, He will forgive you because He loves you. He proved His great love for you (and all humanity) when He came in the form of the man Jesus Christ. For God loved the world (that is lost in sin) so much that he gave his one and only Son (Jesus Christ), so that everyone who believes in him (Jesus) will not perish (in Hell after death for all eternity) but have eternal life (with their loving Creatour GOD in heaven). God sent his Son (Jesus) into the world not to judge the world, but to save the world through him (Jesus paid the price for all human beings SINS and took our punishment for sin upon himself). THERE IS NO JUDGMENT AGAINST ANYONE WHO BELIEVES IN HIM (Jesus). But anyone who does not believe in him has already been judged for not believing in God’s one and only Son. (John 3:16-18 - Holy Bible). BELIEVE in Jesus Christ today he loves you, pray and repent, ask God to forgive you of your past sins and he will and receive Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour and you will be eternally blessed and loved by GOD.
