God morning interfaith community of gorgeous gracious dreamers - Happy Thanksgiving. I am taking this opportunity to reflect all that I am thankful for. There is no order or scale to this list, nor priority in its ordering, Im just simply profoundly thankful, and want to share it. I am thankful for, Mom, Dad, Susanto, Angie, Vivek, Levi, Mary, Anna, The Das family, including Ma, My coworkers at Verizon, shout out to Trisha, my Toyota, My landlords, my Toshiba laptop, my rickety cell phone, the sunrise, the sunset, the earth, the land I grew up on, the food that fed me as I grew, the food I ate today, the Starbucks in the L.C.PW complex and the fantastically sassy women who work there, the WO&D trail, and those who created it and sustain it, Aunt Louise, My extended Allan family, Grandma, Aunt Bonnie, Hugs, Hillsboro FC, to fateful astrology, Space, Christ, My Williamsburg family, My past and present yoga teachers, shout out to - Matt Huish, All the Boogienauts, the Thai Institute of Massage, my universities and those teachers, my elementary school teachrs, Mrs Jenkins, Mrs, Shoemauchker, Mr. Reinhardt, Mr. Varchetto, my past and present friends from all over the world, my Indian family, my bank account, the people who refine the petroleum that goes into my Sienna, my old Enfield, all the inn keepers of any hotel, guest house, or rent-a-bed Ive ever slept in, the Chenoweth House, the Tygart Valley River, the Pacific Ocean, P-Town with a pleasure, to engineers, to the magic of cyber space, to GMU and the CISSP and all those assisting me with its education, to Betty, to the staff at Loudoun County Hospital and Emergency Care on Riverside Parkway, including 100% and then some - bless you forever, to those who believe in me, to my Heartwood Family, Kelly and Gnasi - love forever, To my Cali friends, those who sit in sacred circle with pancha mama, to those who have caused me pain, to those who have given me pleasure, To Gotama Buddha, and the writers of the Vedas, For the mystery, to Terrence Mckenna RIP , love you, to love, to poems, to music, to Clandiah, to the amazing biological functions that steer our bodies and brains, to professor Robert Sapolsky, to The Hypnotherapy Academy of America, to EMILY! To my Facebook friends, that like my stuff just when Im not feeling appreciated, to the counselor I had once that made me use a boffing stick to hit a pillow - wierd, to Christiana Maria Mendoza - you changed my life forever, to N. Cali Mendo vibes and the beautiful scene there - may you drum on forever and hold that vision in the face of calamity! To Krish, Monkey, and Tribe, To Krisna, To Krisna Das, To Sri Karunamayee, to my old Scirocco, Tercel, Celica, Subaru, Saturn and Winnie - thanks for moving me across the scapes, to CS and your amazing talent, to those who make us pissed, to Derrek Jensen, visionaries, strong women, to the trees Ive taken shelter under, and people who have given me a chance to prove myself, to honey bees, and butterflies, to Allans Christmas Tree Land that once was and was magic, to those who smile, to the makers of Veganaise, to Edward Snowden, to the Libertarians and Anarchists, to the Vaishnavas, and to the builders of ancient temples and ancient dreams, to Jesus sacrifice, to those who have laid down their body for a cause bigger then themselves, to my distant cousins, to my star family and sisters, to beautiful voices, to my shoes, and what remains of my hair, to the energy that is exchanged in money, to compassion, understanding, to Goenka and his divine blessings of Vipassana, to my homeland in India, to the Himalayas, to the cows wondering Rishikesh, to The God of Small Things, and many books that made a huge impression on me, to the life force that permeates all beings, to the spanda, for the sky, the gorgeous gorgous Rocky Mountains, to Cascadia - may you rise, and the elements of fire, to the super table and the family that surrounds it, to stangers, to martial arts movies, to capoeira, to the dance, to the Burners, for cell division and magnetism, and the list goes on, Nick Turner, To Susantos teachers, to faith, to Allah, to wisdom regardless of religous affiliation, to the microorganisms in the soil that unify with a stunning mix of elements to nourish food, to Lila and James, to each plant Ive ever tended, and each breath Ive taken, to Addie, and Amos, and the animals I have loved, to the eyes that peer out of the darkness at night and the slender loris, to all the animals, caged and uncaged, to desire and sensuality, to the Yin and the Yang, to gluton-free food!, the river rock water fountain in my parents basement where I played with Transformers, to the house that heard sobs and thrills to the muddy bald spot where I played, and to spinning, hooping and Sufis, to the Sufi Peace Farm, Chabo, Lee, and all those farmers daring to be free, to Swami Dayananda Saraswati, to all Gurujis, to extreme acts of kindness and stunning acts of novelty..my whole life is a one giant blessing after another, and I hope you take the day to reflect. Nothing comes for free and there is always something to be thankful for - and you really dont have to reach for it, you just have to be aware. Thank you Lord for saving my soul. Thank you for your messengers. Thank you love love love.
