God moved up our timeline in Uganda! We will be taking in 17 - TopicsExpress

God moved up our timeline in Uganda! We will be taking in 17 orphans/street children November 15th. Since we have not built our orphanage yet, we NEED your help NOW!!! IMMEDIATE NEEDS: • Lodging – we are in the process of finding a home to rent for the children. In Uganda they require you to pay your first 3 months up front ($1,000). • Food – we are estimating a need of $200 a month to feed all the children ($600 for first 3 months). • Furniture – we will need at the very least beds for them to sleep in. A rough estimate is $750. • Schooling – these kids are currently attending school. Since ALL schools in Uganda require tuition, we need $500 to get them through this semester. • Medical Care – it is hard to estimate a dollar amount in this category as you pay as there is need. Therefore, we have determined that $150 would cover medication for all the students if they suddenly all required treatment for Malaria (or each had an ailment of some kind). • Guardians – while my missionary friends will be administering this “orphanage,” they will need to hire people to live in the home and care for the children. We will be employing one man and one widow (James 1:27). This should cost around $200 per month ($600 for first 3 months) which is a great wage in this country. • Permanent Facility – we already have land to build on for the future, but there is still a lot of paperwork to do. Before we can build a thing, we need to pay the Ugandan government a total of $2,200 after all is said and done. • Transportation – the missionaries I am contracting to run this orphanage will be buying flights to come to the USA to help fund raise and raise awareness of the 2.5 Million orphans in Uganda alone. I also will be traveling to Uganda mostly likely the end of March to start the building process and check in on the children. Please pray about your involvement in these children’s lives. We need prayer, one time donations ($6,000 to raise in a few weeks is huge, but our God is BIGGER!), and continual support. Your gifts ARE tax deductible. Also, if you are interested in helping in any other ways (drawing up blueprints, building/construction, orphan care, etc), please let me know. I plan to start taking teams of workers as soon as possible. Thank you, and God Bless! Nichole Anderson - President
