God never gives strength for tomorrow or for the next hour, but only for thr strain of the minute. This is a quote from Oswald Chambers, My Utmost for His Highest Lamentations 3:25-26 reminds us,The Lord is good unto them that wait for Him,to the soul that seeketh Him. It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the Lord. Learning to trust God minute by minute is difficult . We all want the security of knowing the future. However God knows our flesh is weak and that we would soon forget Him if we did not need His constant provsion of strength and supply. The old hymn, Day By Day gives my thought for today: Day by day and with each passing moment, Strength I find to meet my trials here; Trusting in my Fathers wise bestowment, Ive no cause for worry or for fear. He whose heart is kind beyond all measure Gives unto each day what He deems best Lovingly, its part of pain and pleasure, Mingly toil with peace and rest. I find it a real challenge to WAIT on the Lord. God always shows up, right on time! Whatever your need is today, God has not forgotten you! Trust Him to meet your every need.
