God requires nothing but yet everything. If it cost Him everything to get us to a spiritual condition where we were made capable of following Him: itll cost us no less than what it cost Him...EVERYTHING. And once youve been shown the uselessness of what you have given up, in order to follow Him: you will then realize how USELESS the things you once deemed as EVERYTHING really are. So you see, it really costs NOTHING to be a follower of Christ...but at the same time it costs EVERYTHING. It all comes down to perspective.
