God safe Ghana as Government turns Ghana oil blocks to gamble. How - TopicsExpress

God safe Ghana as Government turns Ghana oil blocks to gamble. How can Government give the right of first refusal to a company PanAdean to negotiate an oil block and whilst negotiations are going on, you cut part of the block, rush to Parliament and grant it to another company Camac Energy, a loss making company as reported by the New York Stock Exchange? Not even an injunction secured by PanAdean from a high court in Ghana could stop government from going into this gargantuan fraud. This issue is the second of controversies lately involving our Government and oil companies, following the signature fraud on the minister of energy. This case also saw a calculated move to undermine Kofi Annans sons company Miura and to process an oil block it was chasing for another company, A-Z Petroleum in which one of the current deputy ministers of energy was the last Managing director before his appointment by president Mahama, a clear conflict of interest. Why should the people of Ghana watch on whilst our government is gambling with our oil blocks and destroying the image of our oil industry globally? Currently, there is a line up of oil blocks being processed for Nigerian oil companies - AMNI International (already given a block), Camac Energy (already given a block) and then very soon the oil contracts that will come to Parliament are for - A-Z Petroleum, Sahara Energy, Britannia U. Nigerians are our neighbors, brothers and friends, but fact is that these companies are minnows. The oil gamble is becoming too much and I wonder if we have Parliament in this country. Gradually, Ghana may become a vampire state if citizens do not raise their voices clearly to stop these. My prayers for our country!!!
