God save the animals ...just thoughts: It isnt just one thing that needs to be done. Its a combined effort of the following: STOP BREEDING. There is NO SHORTAGE of dogs. FINANCIAL GAIN: Stop trying to make a quick buck by selling a puppy or dog. Be RESPONSIBLE. Spay and Neuter the animals you already have. ENFORCE LAWS. Tougher penalties for abuse and neglect. Teach RESPONSIBILITY. Love and respect for animals begins with the very young - children grow up like puppies turn into dogs. They can be raised with a healthy respect for animals. HEAVY Media INVOLVEMENT. Advertise, educate and promote all areas of animal welfare. The money spent on CRAP television is beyond despicable. Use airtime for promoting positive change and awareness. The money needed to do so is a drop in the bucket for some folks. Just saying.
