God sent a test to me today. My Mon-Tuesday evening bus driver is a mid-thirties, clean cut, handsome black man who has always been friendly but appeared pretty shy. Today, out of no where, when I boarded the bus, he asked me, Do you ever read the bible? This began a conversation that revealed he is a recently baptized Jehovah Witness. We had a very even, articulate, deep conversation about our beliefs. Had I not studied occultic beliefs and particularly JW (because my sister and niece have disowned me and my family for not being one of the 144,000 saints) I would not have been versed to share the gospel and to know false doctrine and how to refute it. We were the only two on the bus for a long time, so we ran super late. We truly had a great conversation regardless of the fact we are on opposing sides. I feel blessed to have planted a seed and remained very civil and unfaltered. 2 Timoth 4:2 -Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine.
