God speaks in the most unusual ways sometimes... Im jogging/walking in my neighborhood this evening, as I stop to catch my breath at a crossroad I look up, and the street Im standing on is named... Cross Street!!! God speaks to my heart in that moment, and poses this question, What do you do when youre at a CROSSroads on CROSS Street? Jesus was confronted with the quagmire of being at a CROSSroad on CROSS St., because it was Jesus assignment to die on the cross... It was NOT his aspiration! It was Jesus destiny to die for the sins of the world... It was not his desire! And there will come a time in all of our lives, just like Jesus, when we will be confronted with the very same issue. There will come a time in our lives when well have to forsake our aspirations, for the sake of our assignments! There will come a time in all of our lives when our destiny will have to override our desires! There will come a time when youre at a CROSSroad on CROSS Street when youll have to utter the words of our precious Savior, Nevertheless, not my will, but thy will be done! #preachboy
