God throughout the Bible used bad events to bring about great - TopicsExpress

God throughout the Bible used bad events to bring about great things. Joseph’s brothers sold him into slavery. Had some of them had their way-They would have killed him and left his body in the desert for the vultures, but were restrained by the eldest brother. God used this evil thing they did, to bring Joseph into great power in Egypt. Because he was sold into slavery-Joseph became the vehicle God used to save his family and his brothers, who had sought to do him evil. He became Governor over the house of Pharaoh and Lord over all that he had. When the famine came-Joseph was not only able to save those of Pharaohs household, but his Father and brothers also.-Likewise---- The Pharisee’s hated Christ and sought ways to kill him. They finally did so, upon the cross of Calvary. Just as God used what happened to Joseph to save his family, God used what happened to His Son Jesus, to Save His family also-(Us!) Had it not been for the cross-we could not have been spared from death and hell. God gave to every man a free will, to do as he pleases. Although-He will not force His will upon them. He will use what men do, to alter the outcomes of other people’s lives. God would not stop the Pharisees from taking the life of His Son, But he used the Death of his Son, as a sacrifice for our sins, that we might find forgiveness. Jesus overcame the evil deeds done upon Him, by rising from the dead the 3rd day, and defeating death forever. He became our Intercessor, by acting as our Sacrifice for our sins, and opening a way for our prayers of repentance to be heard, even though we are not Jewish, and not under the covenant of Moses. Today He still uses bad events to bring good into our lives.- As when a family member dies, and it causes someone to seek and find Salvation through the Lord, as a result of their loss. Then with suffering becomes Comfort, once they have repented their sins and changed the way they live. These things seem to be a mystery sometimes, but become clear with the reading of God’s Word everyday. God Bless.
