God will already know my enemy before I do... The definition for Enemy or foe is a relativist term for an entity, whether an individual or a group, that is seen as forcefully adverse or threatening. The concept of an enemy has been observed to be basic for both individuals and communities. The term enemy serves the social function of designating a particular entity as a threat, thereby invoking an intense emotional response to that entity. Isaiah 54:17 - No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, saith the LORD. Proverbs 16:7 - When a mans ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him. No one can inflict any pain or suffering that God will not allow, to a person with faith. There is no need for one with faith in God to acknowledge an enemy, for it will be revealed to God in spirit before man in sight.
