The label “toxic” means something that drains life and energy. Toxic Relationships make us feel weak and feeble and subject to the whim of the person to whom we give our power. “Toxic” doesn’t only entail obvious damage like physical abuse, stealing, or name-calling. It also represents all the internal turmoil that results from an unhealthy relationship. One of the most common, telltale signs of a toxic marriage is that you are spending more time fighting than enjoying each other. We are going to share with you some of the things that make marriages and relationships in 2014 very unfulfilling to the point where they no longer give us any pleasure at all. A relationship doesn’t have to be romantic to fall into the “toxic” category, of course. Many friendships, mother-daughter, boss-employee, and waiter-eater relationships qualify. If someone is bringing you down consistently, chances are that your relationship with him is toxic.
