God woke me up and stated speaking to me about His love for us. It is intimate, passionate...fierce. It is all consuming. When you enter into a true love relationship with Him you lose yourself in Him. You truly die to self because you are totally in Him. And you are secure in that love. Fear, insecurities, jealously... does not exist because you know without a doubt He loves you. He loves you. He is faithful. You never have to worry about Him leaving you. He loves you in such a way, that words cannot do it justice. You seek His face continually because when you look into His eyes you become the person He created you to be...wonderfully created you to be. It no longer matters what the world says or thinks of you...because His love is more than enough to sustain you...to live on forever and ever...eternally. What this world offers as love is a very poor imitation of Gods love because self always gets in the way. In Gods love, we find true selflessness. How can we be sure of that? Because to be in a relationship with us, a true relationship with no veils...no person...no title or position separating us, He became one of us. He lived as one of us. He stood firm no matter the persecution for us. He made the ultimate sacrifice, enduring abandonment, torture and death, for us. Because He wanted to be with us, with me, forever. His love runs that deep, that fierce. And He wants, He deserves that kind of love in return. That is what being in a relationship with God is about. That is what Christianity is.
