God wouldnt have made a promise He didnt intend to keep. Why do we struggle so much instead of just receiving the abundant life He offers? Why do we choose to dwell on our difficulties instead of accepting His precious gift? Peace seems so hard to keep when the storms of life are swirling around us. But remember we serve the Waymaker who makes a way where there seems to be no way. A pilot doesnt remain in turbulent weather, he flies far above the storm. There is a place of peace in the midst of the storm just as there is an eye of calm in the center of a hurricane. We can choose to dwell in our difficulties or look up to the one who spoke peace to the storm. We can dwell in perfect peace in Gods presence if we keep our mind on Him. The Prince of Peace desires to lead us beside still, quite waters today. Cares, anxieties and fears will try to block our way as we seek Him. But we can choose to cast all our cares on the One who cares for us. 1 Peter 5=7. Phil. 4=7 Didnt He command us to be anxious for nothing? If you keep your mind on Jesus, remaining stayed, steadfast, rooted, immovable, you will have perfect peace, He said so.
