Godly Woman of Purpose, Assurance, Boldness, Strength and Vision “For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” II Timothy 1:17 (ESV) Ladies, today we bring to a close our topic of being a Godly woman. This month we’ve discussed being a woman of Purpose, Assurance, Boldness, Strength, and Vision. Let’s take some time today to reflect on what each of those mean and how we can begin to either apply those to our lives or become better in the areas we need to. The bible says in II Timothy 1:17 (ESV) “for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.” This scripture lets us know that fear doesn’t come from God but power, love, and self- control does. Therefore, our fear comes from the enemy. Many times our fears causes us to be uncomfortable. Even in our discomfort God wants us to remain self-controlled and not allow fear to take power over our lives. There was a woman who wanted to share her testimony with a group of young girls, but she always feared people judging her, because of her fear she didn’t follow through with ministering to those young girls. The down fall to that was, she not only allowed fear to take power but she also missed an opportunity to witness to someone. That someone she missed out on witnessing to may have been experiencing something similar to what she went through. Don’t allow fear to keep you content with the old you. Know that with God all things are possible and we can be confident in knowing that through Christ we are bold and strong. As Godly women, we must always have our trust in God and know that prayer is the key to getting God involved in our lives. In prayer ask God to reveal areas that you need to improve upon so that you can be the Godly woman He created you to be and fulfill your purpose through Christ Jesus. Have confidence in our Father! We are women of Purpose, Assurance, Boldness, Strength, and Vision but most importantly, we are Holy women! Remember that God loves you and created you with a Purpose and a Promise in mind. Be Blessed!
