Godly character BE ENCOURAGED 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 Struggle out of bed, wake the husband, get his stuff ready for work, contemplate going back to bed when he leaves only to realize the baby is awake so that wont happen, so I wake the other 2 boys, clean the Irving room for the 5 gazillions time, grab a shower, make the boys breakfast, try and squeeze a small. Bile time in, homeschool, the list goes on and on. Then the sun starts lowering which leads to preparing dinner, diaper changes, book reports, grocery list making, clean up dinner, more homework, baths and showers for everyone, maybe start a late night load of laundry....... Then its bed time, just to wake up and do it all over again, the list of good things isnt even the full list is it? Are you ready to drink in a deep breathe of encouragement and perspective? Look at who is responsible for you energy. Jesus Christ himself! And look how he plans to help you...... In everything you do and say. Gods help is so useful and practical. Thats why overstretched moms like us can cling to his promise. Out of his word flows His very nature to nourish and keep us healthy. He wants to feed our hearts little by little with his knowledge. Whether we sit and read the bible in our favorite chair before daybreak, at the breakfast table with splashes of food or juice from the kids or while waiting in some kind of line, gods hope and encouragement are waiting for each of us. In the evening, a prayer from scripture will settle our own minds and the hearts of our children as they fall to sleep. And tomorrow? God will help us again in full measure....... To do and to say every good thing we need to do and say. Again. His word, by it you can grow up and be saved because you have already examined the evidence and seen how good the Lord is. (1Peter 2:2-3) BE ENCOURAGED
