Gods Gem Child Ministry Daily Devotional Sunday 26th January 2014 Topic: Be dead to sin, Alive unto God( Christ our perfect Example) Text: Romans 6: 9 - 11 knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him; For in that he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth unto God; Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be death indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord. Todays text is to activate we Believers, knowing that the wages of Sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. This calls for us to follow the path Christ(Gods Gift) followed. One thing we all must understand is, for every steps we take in life, it must be in line with the path our saviour followed. He was cruxified, and that gave us dominion over sin, Hence to everyone who stay alive for him, he directs. When we are dead unto sin, a supernatural power takes over our life, cos weve been cruxified with Christ. Christ is our perfect example, He died unto sin once and liveth unto God, we also should act in this capacity, let us all be dead unto sin, but alive unto God. Conclusively, we must always get things right, by Looking unto Jesus the author and the finisher of our faith. Prayer point: I declare myself dead to sin, and Resurrected for Christ.
