Gods Gem Ministry Daily Devotional Monday 11th August 2014 Topic: The Evidence (part 1) Text: Mark 16: 17-18 And these signs shall follow them that believe; in my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They shall take up serpent and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover After the resurrection of Christ, He appeared unto the eleven, to certify them of His resurrection, with a command to go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every nation. He then gave them the evidence. Believers are called Christains, because the first Church(Believers) portrayed the attributes of Christ. Christ while in man nature, did exploit, this exploit He has also commited into the hands of His disciples and to them that believe in Him, who have been called out of the sinful nature. In HIS NAME will they shun the devil, they shall as well posses a tongue of languages, known only to The Trinity, and to them the Spirit permits. There shall be nothing that will hurt them; and if people mingle up to oppose the will of the Father in them, it shall not stand. What a great evidence. But its strictly to them that believe, the chosen generation, the ones that have received the power of sonship. More evidence is they shall display the Fruits of the Spirit. So even if someone fakes the working of wonders and the likes, such cant fake the fruits of the Spirit. Every believers have these evidence. We as well have the evidence of Eternity, a secured life. A life free from damnation. And thats the evidence. As such, were to declare our stand, the identity of a light is never hidden, even in thick dark, its rays will be seen. Were light, our light must shine, these evidences must been seen and the command of our Master and Friend Jesus, must be obeyed. Dont be ignorant of this....
