Gods Purposes Are Greater But Joseph said to them, “Don’t be afraid. Am I in the place of God? You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. So then, don’t be afraid. I will provide for you and your children.” And he reassured them and spoke kindly to them. (Genesis 50:19-21 NIV) -Josephs life is an example of how God turns everything for good to them that love Him. -His brothers intended to do away with him and his dreams by throwing him into a cistern and eventually by selling him as a slave to the Ishmaelites who later sold him to Potiphar, the courtier of Pharaoh in Egypt (Gen. 37:28). Everything fell into place for Gods perfect plan. -It worked out to be the avenue for Joseph to become the Deliverer in Egypt during a time of famine. What was intended to harm Joseph, God turned it be the path for his destiny. -Truly, in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. (Rom. 8:28) -Love God and trust Him! He has a destiny for you. -Dont let bitterness take root in your heart, release forgiveness to those who have plotted to harm you. Though you may not understand it now, God has a greater plan for you. -Let God move you toward your destiny!
