Gods Redemptive Purpose Romans 8:28 - And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Redemptive is defined as offsetting; compensating, qualifying, saving. When good things happen, this does not prove that we did the right thing. It reveals that God is a powerful, redeeming God who works good things out of anything, good and bad. Of course the premier example of this is the cross. If God can transform an instrument of death and curse into a symbol of life and salvation, surely he can redeem us now. I come by this morning to let you know God’s redemptive purpose is to transform you and I into the image of his son. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the grave now works within us. But God’s redemption is not purposeless. The end picture of our redemption is to transform us into the image of his son, Jesus. Father God, we lay down our agendas and plans. In every circumstance make us more like you. Be blessed and I love you!!! JE
