Moses is saying simply that we - man- have been created to reveal the beauty of Gods character in our own as we relate to our own children (& others). So whether youre a child of parents, or the parents of a child, the beauty of parental character should be seen, or demonstrated by the child, or parent, respectively. Our sin nature is what gets in the way and fights for `self in this relationship all too often, and nowhere more so than in our relationship with God. If any of you have difficulty with a child today, no matter how much he may have hurt, or offended you, think of how God, nevertheless has continued to reveal the beauty of his character to you - His child - and do ye likewise for your own child of flesh and bone, not because anything hes done to earn it back, but simply to reveal Jesus in you, to him.
