Gods morning on this holy sunday. Am hoping you know the story of Naomi better than I do. Naomi was married to Eimelech and came from Palestine - Bethlehem(MEANING MY GOD IS KING)THEY HAD TWO SONS MAHLON and CHILLON. Hppened to be a famine in Bethlehem. Naomi and Eimelech decided to go and look for better pastures . AS THE STORY GOES., . They went to MOAB. The going became harder than expected. The boys became of age and both married women from Moab - RUTH AND ORPAH. Th is was like a punishment because everything happened and Naomi found herself burying her husband and her two sons. Eimelech never lived up to his name which clearly meant CHILD OF GOD. Note that they left BETHLEHEM (PLACE OF SUSTENANCE AND PROVISION). They moved from a place of PROVISON to a simpler choice . The bible deeply indicates that its not God who killed EIMELECH AND HIS BOYS but the choice of doubting him in BETHLEHEM (REMEMBER THE MEANING OF BETHLEHEM) They sank into their roots in MOAB. We are told most of us believers live their lives away from the Father AND they sink in their foot. Mostly, when we die ---its not that God has punished us, its our deeds in not trusting him in the first place. When we sojourn and there is a blesing, this has another implication. When we dont, God never wanted us to do so. Naomi became very bitter after her loss and decided to go back to Bethlehem. Ruth insisted on going with her mother in law where she found big favor. Orpah did not. I MEAN NAOMI DECICDED TO GO BACK TO HER COUNTRY OF ORIGIN WHERE SHE CONTINUED RECEIVING BLESSINGS THROUGH HER DAUGHTER IN LAW. Now, when we left home, this was the GREAT MIGRATION /EXODUS which will be in History books. Some of us were not meant to be where we are. We might have disobeyed God. Am not sure where I am. The only thing is, am believing God that I will see the fruits of going back where I came from. This is with a lot of remorse and repentance. Others came here from Gods calling. Some followed without Gods calling. The Bible talks about EIMELECH AND NAOMI AS PRODIGAL SONS/DAUGHTER. Am not sure who I am. Am trusting God to make it straight for me. I repent, trust and pray. Maybe you were the person we brought to receive favor and blessings. May the name OF OUR SAVIOUR BE GLORIFIED as we take the next step. GLORY BE TO GOD ALMIGHT.Y..AMEN AND AMEN
