Gods route for us may not be the shortest. Exodus 13:17 When - TopicsExpress

Gods route for us may not be the shortest. Exodus 13:17 When Pharaoh let the people go, God did not lead them on the road through the Philistine country, though that was shorter. For God said, If they face war, they might change their minds and return to Egypt. God knows us so well. So much comes out of this verse. Moses and Aaron, aged 80 & 83, had been entirely obedient to God and when He leads them on the longer route, they follow. There was a shorter route, which probably, to them, seemed more practical. But God knows better. He knows the best route for you to take. He knows the best way for you to go. He knows you better than you know yourself! Perhaps you think God has been leading you in a strange and round about route. Another route and you may turn back. Be sensitive to Gods leading. When He opens a door, walk through it and keep going. Youll get there in the end, and with God leading, youll get there in the best possible way. God bless you today! In His Grip, Helga
