Godzilla sucked so much ass. The plot was horrible. The beginning cast was useless for the rest of the movie. It was rushed. The monsters were terrible. Godzilla looked like Freddy Krueger in the face. Then they had the nerve to move one of Japans most famous pop icon to San Fransisco/Hawaii and make most of the fighting in the U.S., just to please American audiences, which is so disrespectful to the Japanese. The idea of even excusing the bombings of Bikini Atol and Hiroshima for previous Monster Attacks is just plain bullshit and terrible. The main protagonist was a terrible actor, as well as his father, which I was highly disappointed because he does very well in other roles, especially in Breaking Bad. It had terrible actors period. The only good ones I can say did good acting was the protagonists wife. Thats how bad the movie was, I cant even remember the protagonists name. It was all rushed and they tried to make it about the protagonist and his father instead of Godzilla itself. Terrible movie, dont watch it. It was about 2 hours and 30 minutes and it was completely rushed. I claimed bullshit when the Japanese man said maybe we should just let them fight. It was just terrible. Youd think with the more advanced technology we have today that it would at least match up with the greatness of Peter Jacksons 2005 film King Kong. I AT LEAST expected that, but it failed miserably. Just from the first 10 minutes of watching this movie I knew it would be terrible. What made it worse is how they tried to use nuclear radiation to fuel the monsters. And how all the fighting was in the dark and you could barely enjoy that. The end was also very terrible where Godzilla is presumed dead via the previous fighting and everyones recovering. Then out of no where he gets up and leaves back to the ocean, where the people just guess that hes the good guy. Just awful. Dont waster your money. Thats just the movie critic in me lol
