Godzilla was much better than I expected. Instead of following the past few failed Godzilla remakes, Gareth Edwards brings us back to the spirit of Hondas original monster classics. Even with the nostalgic feel, this film has been brought into todays world. The story has underlying themes like the originals. The acting is good, and their characters are well developed. Theyre worth investing in, but they do get lost during the films final act during some serious monster ass-kicking destruction. In the end its a smart, fun, monster, action movie do characters will take a backseat. If you havent seem this Godzilla than check it out.
