God’s Spirit Within Us Ezek 36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. The Lord puts His Spirit within us. The Spirit represents the very life of God. It comes from a word which really means wind, breath of life itself or the breath of life. God said he will put His Spirit in us that we may keep His statutes, His judgments and do them. God wants to make us walk in the Spirit, like a glove on a hand. God’s Spirit dwells within us to fulfilling His cause and purpose in our lives. That is why we have to walk in the Spirit so we don’t fulfill the lusts of the flesh. As we yield and submit unto God, He will cause us to walk above circumstances and situations. Most of all, He will equip us to carry out His Will here on earth. We have the reassurance to know that God is the greater one on the inside of us. God will lead and guide us. He will order our steps. As we follow Him, we will walk in total victory. We need to realize that God is the one that directs our lives. He is the one that keeps us. We need to believe that we are being led by the Spirit. Prayer Focus: Thank you, Lord for ordering my steps and for keeping me in all my ways. Verse of the Day: Acts 17:28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring. Living the Word Today: God will lead you by His Spirit even when you don’t know it. Thank God for the greater one living on the inside.
