God’s church is a “living thing”. It is not the result of man’s efforts or desire; it is the birthing of the Holy Ghost upon the earth. Since the origin of the Church is from heaven there is some “adjustment” as the Kingdom of God begins to spread over all the earth. Man has tried to subjugate the Church into a work of the earthly, but God’s church shall never be so. The result is what we have today, a great “mixture” of heaven and earth, of “soul and Spirit”. To look at the outward conglomerate we call Christianity it is a mess. We will look more into this in another chapter concerning ourselves here with the birth of the Church. We see the birth of the Church on the day of Pentecost:
