The bench mark* sanction imposed where a student is found guilty of an exam infringement** is a six (6) month suspension from the NWU, as well as the withholding of the students certificate of conduct. * The Disciplinary Committee for Student Affairs reserves the right to impose any sanction as set forth in the Students Disciplinary Rules of the North-West University. ** Examination infringements include the possession of any unauthorized material during an examination opportunity as well as die handling of cellphones during the examination opportunity.
