The Owens family is wealthy and owns a brewery, most of the family flee to the creek in their summer homes to escape the disease in the city. The family must face the struggle of owning a brewery during Prohibition and keeping the businesses operating during the Great Depression. In the third story, a 17 yr old boy tells his parents that he enlisted in the US Army... and is soon deployed to Vietnam. They struggle through the turmoil of the 60s & 70s. The final story involves the children of the creek front area during the 1990s. The children are made aware of some of the people of the past. The Creek: Where Stories of the Past Come Alive.
