Going back through Winterborn, editing and fixing some scenes due to subtle plot changes. I am exceptionally pleased with it, especially with a few of the new characters that are introduced and some surprises. While this book continues the story of Nick and Agatha, it can stand on its own, I think. Want a little teaser, meet a character who could change their lives? Oh, alright....a short excerpt from Winterborn... While a maid poured coffee from a tall silver urn, Agatha casually took measure of the man across from her. Orion possessed an unmistakable masculine beauty. His face could have inspired the greatest of Renaissance artists to capture his likeness in masterpieces of marble and oil. The effortless confidence with which he carried his broad frame made the impeccable tailoring of his clothing inconsequential. There was one imperfection about him, his implacable green eyes. She met his gaze without hesitation, observing the manner in which he looked at her. There was an almost imperceptible hesitation in the movement of his eyes. It was as if he had difficulty focusing on any one aspect of her face. She noticed Aréna was staring just past her shoulder, as if something at the back of the room was of the greatest interest. It was odd, but unremarkable. What do you think Orion brings to the table?
