Going from the the recent poll it would appear that we have lots of people who dont feel comfortable jumping in on the group rides because they think they may be too slow. I was just about to set up a ride for this Saturday for those who feel they are in that category but I am riding Friday night and all day Sunday so it would be sensible if I didnt commit. Anybody want to help out and organise a ride for Saturday or Sunday? The only requirements are that you need to know your way around the forest, you dont mind approaching people who are loitering nervously in the car park and asking them if they looking for the group ride, you can count the number of riders at the top and at the bottom of trails and you are there to make sure everybody is ok rather than worrying about your own strava PRs. Actually there are no requirements at all - you can all do what you want - but thats how I would do it :-). Anyone?
