Going through a stack of promo CDs today I grabbed Velvet Crushs Teenage Symphonies To God. I dont how I could have missed these guys as I was a HUGE Teenage Fanclub fan back then (still am). While Velvet Crush is pretty similar, they sound more like an updated version of late 60s Byrds (they even do a Gene Clark cover) as compared to Teenage Fanclubs Big Star inspired jangle.
