Going through our storage locker yesterday I found a book entitled A Call to Live .. Jewish Guidance on Healing. In it I found a piece of writing by a Rebbe Nachman which I found to be very inspirational. Heres an excerpt: If you have faith in God you will have a very good life. Even in times of trouble your faith will inspire you. Have trust in God and know that everything will be for the best. This world never gives people everything they desire. If you ignore your true spiritual mission and seek only the pleasures of this world, you will meet with constant frustration, and you will have nothing to console you. But when you have faith you have hope in the world to come. You therefore have a very good life in this world too because you know that everything is for good, even your suffering. Suffering comes either to remind you to repent or to cleanse you of sin. Ultimately, it will allow you to attain the everlasting good of the world to come. But those without faith in God have no life, because their worldly troubles and anxieties completely destroy their lives.
