Going through photos in preparation for the celebration of Brian Brebergs life and I made the comment to Lyle Breberg that I hated having to do this for funerals always. I am retracting that thought as we just spent the most enjoyable hour reliving our past going through photos all the way back to 1973 or so with lots of laughs and a few tears. I also want to share how amazed I am at the strength and strong faith that Brian showed during his battle with cancer that he succumbed to yesterday afternoon. He never once gave up hope that there was a cure out there for him, but when he had to stop chemo, he faced that phase of his journey with so much courage, grace and dignity. He always was making others feel better when we would visit with him. Brian Breberg was an wonderful family man and what a legacy he leaves behind of three absolutely amazing daughters and a wife who went above and beyond taking care of him. So, never give up hope, no matter what you are facing. God is there and carries you when you cant go it alone. God Bless his memory and we are going to miss that cute little laugh.
