Going through the Thai motions, sorta just like diarrhea but more - TopicsExpress

Going through the Thai motions, sorta just like diarrhea but more expensive, more draining and more ridiculous! Day 2 of non immigration O Retirement Visa was a Mini Bus trip to the thriving metropolis of Bangkok, I used to have the scariest trip Ive ever done in a motor vehicle attributed to Phukett to Bangkok, actually yes it still is but todays first 2 hours was pretty close, so is a clear second! Im going through all of this for several reasons, firstly for the Visa and secondly for research, i want first hand experience in going through the process, i want to know the frustrations and things that make it hard to do and why, as FarangFindIt now grows we will be being more involved with helping Farang do this kind of nonsense. In the past few days Ive discovered many things, Ive discovered dodgy visa agents who make copy Visas, bogus Immigration stamps and some who will take your passport and have it copied for future sale. The cheaper the Visa dealings with agents the dodgier it is, its simply because they dont actually get real visas and the poor unsuspecting sod only finds out the next time they leave the country when they are hit with a massive overstay bill at exit immigration. This bill reaches 20,000 Baht plus other fines and or imprisonment in the Bangkok Hilton! This morning I watched first hand as the Immigration police unloaded a ute full of illegals, they were not nasty looking desperados but every day you and mes, they didnt look real happy either as they were all being deported that day. Most looked like they hadnt slept in days and they had barely more than the clothes on their backs. I spoke with many today who were doing the visa exercise by themselves and they couldnt believe how easily Ive been doing mine, so I guess Im on the right track now with what Im doing with Farang Find It, we are now affiliated with 2 top flight Immigration legal agents to make sure our customers dont end up in the back of a Thai Royal Police Paddy Wagon or being ripped off and deported. My Passports still in the clutches of Thai Immigration and will be till Friday for final sign off, all going well of course..lol
