Going thru a box that hasnt been opened in 3 years and finding treasures. Some of them actual real treasures, some sentimental and some junk. Lots of earrings. I knelt on the floor sorting and matching them but what to do with them as I have no decent jewelry box or way ofkeeping them matched. And then I saw the ANSWER. A large rubber eraser with some corners broken off. (HINT: if you lose an earring back, just break an eraser of a pencil or a corner off a large eraser. It makes a great earring back). I pressed all the matched earings into the eraser and ended up with a block of matches. The rest I lingered over. hmm. Finally I decided that not all have to match each other if they are of similar size and color. That saved a few from getting tossed. I looked at the rest. Some would make a beautiful gift if I broke off the post and glue one firmly to the front of a blank journal (black). or..clued to the front of a greeting card. I sigh and finally throw them in the garbage. By the time I get around to doing that kind of crafty stuff, I wont remember where I put them.
