Going to a family baptism today and I was thinking of the enormous responsibility of being a god parent. I am the proud godfather of 2 kids (Jayda and Damien) and was greatly humbled when 2 of my close friends chose me to do their job in case of their absence. That is a huge thing to tell someone. To think of all the people on the planet and they choose you to be responsible for their most important thing in life, their kids.
