Going to bed after what will easily be the second worse thanksgiving of my life. I got cussed by states quarterback for cheering for my team, had cowbells rung in my ear, got barked at, and called names I didnt even know an average white kid trying to get an education could get. State wanted that win more, and albeit disappointed in some of our behavior on the field in the first half, I will never respect states football program. Im sorry, I just cant agree with a coach standing aside and letting his player cuss a band student for saying nothing more than the word yes. Huge props to states band though. Classy group of people (from what I could see) who cheered for us when we played, spoke to us on the sidelines and even told us good job after the game. Yall, I know I talk a lot of trash, and its all in good fun. But I certainly know why Im at ole miss and not state, southern, or anywhere else. Hotty Toddy yall. Happy thanksgiving.
